Fun fact: E.E. Knight isn't a big fan of the covers for the Age of Fire. Says they're not very accurate.
That wouldn't surprise me, ahahahah. I imagine that, unless he draws for himself, it's quite difficult to get an artist to draw the dragons like his visions them unless he sits down with them and describes everything bit by bit.
I like the cover art quite a bit, but I also have a lot of pet peeves with them as well. In particular, I hate how the wings and hind legs are done, and the tails seem a bit too long. So if I dislike a handful of things on the cover dragon art, I can imagine that he likely has many qualms with them. After all, these are his brain children.
