Burrowing Fakemon

I haven’t made any fakemon in a long time, so I figured I’d give it another go again. Drawing’s are sort of half-assed, but whatever.

My essential inspiration for these three was to create a ground/flying type Pokemon. The main subjects I chose to initially base it off of then were a burrowing owl and a starnosed mole. It sort of later evolved into more dog/crow, though, I suppose, when I made the legs longer to try and show some growth— and then altered the colours to sort of go from burrowing owl to mole.

Cunilura

The fledgling Pokemon.

Type: ground

A timid little Pokemon that makes its home in burrows. It has a very sharp nose, which it uses to navigate through dark tunnels.


Condylaria

The pitfall Pokemon.

Type: ground/flying

Unlike Cunilura, Condylaria is far braver— and even devious. It has a nasty habit of using the tunnels that it digs to trap unsuspecting enemies and prey. With new wings and longer legs, it is much more willing to leave its tunnels than Cunilura; however, Condylaria’s wings are not yet capable of stable flight for long periods of time.


Culfossio

The hoard Pokemon.

Type: ground/flying

Culfossio still makes its dens in burrows, alike its previous stages, but is more inclined to travel. With strong wings, it flies from town to town, collecting anything that catches its eye. Once nabbed, anything the Culfossio claims as its own is stored in its burrow. It will guard these treasures furiously.
