My interpretation of the Copper from the Age of Fire series by E.E. Knight.
I've been obsessively rereading this series lately. I never read the last book and have been meaning to reread them to have it all fresh in my memory. It's too good of a series to finish it on a forgetful note!
If you love dragons but haven't read this series, please do so! It's written from the POV of dragons and one review heralded it as "a bloody, unsentimental fairy tale."
They're all very well written (minus a few typos) and the world building is just-- stunning. If you have a thing for intricate story universes, you will not be disappointed.
The first three books can actually be read in any order since they start from the same focal point and split in three directions, following the vastly different adventures of three dragon siblings during the same timeline.
